A face of the Bald Eagle

The eagle is an emblem of the United States of America. In fact, it is the country's national bird.

Eagles are known to be rarely seen in the skies. This is probably because they live in high mountains and tall perch trees. They are very fond of their chicks and because of this they are defensive.

The eagle became a symbol because of men of action. They were always occupied with high and weighty affairs. The eagle is a symbol of strength, authority, and power, and was given to those of ingenuity and distinction.

The eagle's wings were symbols of protection, and its sharp, gripping talons symbolized despair at the cost of evildoers.
